Inside view of tram 1436 looking along the tram.  This tram does not seem to off been refurbished.  Note the peg board roof.  It helps to drain the water from the roof when it rains heavily!  This tram was operating route 37. Virtually all of the trams we saw on route 37 were of very poor condition.  Route 37 is serviced by the Hungária depot and is its puts its worst cars and also those that have been serviced to iron out faults.  The Hungária depot also provides trams for the key routes 4 and 6, hence trams in poor condition or just of the shops are put onto route 37 as they can not afford a breakdown on routes 4/6 when 16 trams in each direction run at peak times.

Inside view of tram 1313 showing how a seat is fixed, ie suspended from the wall rather then fixed to the floor.    This seat seems to be a replacement.  The seats are suspended in order to allow easy cleaning of the tram floor.

Some Ganz, those used on route 2 have been nicely refurbished and fitted with PIDs, which show route & time; next stop; connections available at the next stop.  These cars are completely refurbished in the 90's, to the extent of new bodies, they are called KCSV7.
