As it started to rain at Station Street I moved north to The Forest tram stop. Here it was still dry.   This is tram 211 on a service to Station Street, having come from Phoenix Park.  See also photos taken of Goose Fair preparations and trams on Goose Fair Preview page.

The rain reached The Forest so I headed north to Hucknall for lunch and to collect my steps I keep in the car.  When I left Hucknall it was sunny.  I got the tram Moor Bridge and walked uo on to the bridge across the line when it started to rain.  From the bridge I caught a sequence of photos of tram 212 passing tram 214 heading on her way to Hucknall.  See special report.  It had stopped raining but was still damp and dark as tram 212 headed back south.  She should of passed a northbound tram at Moor Bridge, but that was running about 15 minutes late so she headed south with out crossing.  Tram 212 was working run 1, on the 14:01 ex Hucknall.
