Following the closure of The Forest Park and Ride after the last tram just after midnight, the car park has been transformed in just over 12 hours.  This is tram 210 on Phoenix park service.

Tram 211 on  a service to Station  Street.  Note how different this view looks from the day previously see report on the Saturday service at The Forest.  In addition to the car park filling up with fairground rides, the weather is a bit wetter!

Despite the additions overnight, the showman were still arriving Sunday afternoon, at times in convoys.  This is a view of Gregory Boulevard just to the east of the junction with Noel Street and the tram line.  The queue of traffic was caused by a combination of cars coming the other way not letting them turn right and access congestion on site.  The backing up of traffic caused a few idiot car drivers to block the junction.

Even though the cars this were clear of the kinetic path of the tram, the driver of tram 208 waited for the cars to edge a bit further out of the way before proceeding across the crossing.

Tram 208 on a Station St service waits at The Forest tram stop.  Despite the lack of P&R, the stop was still fairly busy which confirms the importance of the route without the P&R facility.

A view like this should make the Blackpool and Fylde tramway fans at home!  There is also a roller coaster as well.

The PID stated the obvious- " Forest P&R shut during Goose Fair".  The PID goes on to display "- use Wilkinson St".  When I went passed Wilkinson St P&R it was as full as it is normally is.
