Wednesday 6th October 2004 - Misplaced Vehicle at Station St

The announcement I hear is "Incident at Station St - delays to trams". Could this mean trams terminating at OMS? ©Stephen Dee 6 October 2004 (ID PA069029)

First tram takes me directly to Station St - and then I see why - a misplaced vehicle! As I arrived they seemed to be moving the rail mounted trolleys fore and aft of the car. I presume the technique of removing the car is to lift each end on to a trolley. ©Stephen Dee 6 October 2004 (ID PA069033)

As you can this vehicle is way and truly misplaced having made its way, apparently in broad daylight, at 4:40pm, along Colin St Viaduct and across Canal St Bridge and stopped at the south end of the scissor crossover, blocking the entry/exit to the preferred platform at Station St. The driver was arrested by the Police. ©Stephen Dee 6 October 2004 (ID PA069036)
