12th March - Trams with and without Red Noses
NET went to town for RND05 (Red Nose Day 05).  The trams displayed the poster on the right at each end behind the drivers seat.  This poster was from tram 201.

The ebay auction raised a grand sum of £417.98

A number of NET employees dressed up as various characters such as Tiger, Austin Powers, Whinnie the Pooh, Darf Vader were out on the trams collecting money for RND05.  In addition some of the tram crews also got into the spirit of RND05 by using "rouge" to give themselves bright red cheeks and noses.

Tours of the depot were given for a minimum donation of £10.  Tours were held on 3 days, with a tour at 11am and 6pm.

Tram 201 is seen here wearing her brand new Powergen livery.  Her old Powergen livery was removed earlier in the week, and she was in plain NET livery on the 9th March, and then in the evening a new Powergen livery was applied.
