1st October 2005 - Track drain and point cleaning at The Forest & Goose Fair Set Up
Tram 204 is seen departing The Forest on a run 07SJ the late running 15:26 from Phoenix Park, passing NET technicans who where cleaning points and track drains. There truck ahs a water tank and compressor to provide high pressure water through a lance for cleaning.

Having finished at the south end points they moved down and start on the track drain in the rails of the south bound track at the north end of the tram stop. The technicians pause to let passengers from a northbound tram cross the tracks to the Park and Ride car park. The technician on the right is hold his lance.

There is no peace for the Technicians, as soon as the passengers have cross the tracks, tram 214 draws in on a Station St service.

Tram 206 departs on a Hucknall service with one of the big rides for the Goose Fair being assembled on the Park & Ride car park.

As tram 206 crosses Gregory Boulevard, it is passed by tram 202 on a Station Street service. The two NET Technicians look to see what cleaning is required on the northbound trailing points.

NET is gradually adding two sided PIDs to tram stops where required. The one on the island platform at The Forest is nicely synchronised with the message scrolling across starting on the right hand PID and travelling across to the left hand one. I don't know if this was planned or fluke.

Part of the Park & Ride car park was already occupied by part of the Goose Fair. Within 24 hours, all the car park will be used by the Goose Fair.
