26th March 2006 - PID Displaying No Trams Service on 2nd April
Tram 204 in waits at The Forest tram stop on a Sunday morning service to Hucknall. There were no posters advising about the cancelling of all tram services due to the line closure to allow for the removal of the old Midland Railway footbridge Instead there were regular displays of "No Trams Next Sunday" on the PIDs at all tram stops and tannoy announcements

In addition to the closure of the tram route, that part of Lincoln Street adjacent to the footbridge will be closed to all traffic including pedestrians.
