26th March 2006 - David Lane Level Crossing Midland Railway Footbridge - RIP (1) |
On Sunday 2nd April 2006, the old Midland Railway footbridge, at David Lane, level crossing, also known as Lincoln Street crossing, was removed. Above is a picture taken when NET was being built in August 2002. At that time and like many other times the bridge was incidental and not a subject of a photograph. Oh how the scene has changed over the years. © Stephen Dee
