26th March 2006 - David Lane Level Crossing Midland Railway Footbridge - RIP - 2 Footbridge and Trains

On Sunday 2nd April 2006, the old Midland Railway footbridge, at David Lane, level crossing, also known as Lincoln Street crossing, was removed.  Some views of trains and trams with the bridge as centre stage rather the trams.  A Central Trains Class 156 414 Sprinter heads towards Nottingham on a Robin Hood Line service under the Footbridge at Lincoln Street.  Note in the distance a northbound service can be seen.  If the southbound service is late they are sometimes held back by a yellow light just before the crossing as they slowly approach Bulwell where the Robin Hood Line was singled before the station there to make room for the NET line.
